Dr. Erella is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Erella attended medical school in India and had extensive surgical training in India and in the United States in well reputed universities.
Dr. Erella did a five year General Surgery residency, graduating from St. Joseph’s hospital, Northwestern University, Chicago. Subsequently he completed a fully accredited Plastic Surgery residency at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. Dr. Erella then went on to complete an extra year of advanced fellowship in Breast and Aesthetic surgery and worked as Instructor in Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Alabama in Birmingham under the directorship of world renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Luis O. Vasconez. During this year he has learnt several advanced techniques for facial aesthetic surgery, reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery and post bariatric body contouring procedures.
Dr. Erella’s main interests are facial aesthetic surgery, breast and body contouring procedures. He also performs all other reconstructive procedures including hand surgery and has been performing surgery for 15 years. Dr. Erella’s philosophy is that the patient should always be well-informed of all the available treatment options and results enabling them to actively participate in the decision making process. Patient safety and satis-faction are his top priority.
Dr. Erella provides comprehensive body-contouring procedures and rejuvenation services for our patients. Dr. Erella and Dr Ganta coordinate the procedures so that both surgeons can optimize the treatment reducing total operating time with increased efficiency as well as reducing the overall cost for the patient.
